The Metropolitan Opera offers The Ring Cycle in it's thrilling forth season. The first of Wagner's epic dark masterpiece, Das Rheingold, depicting the theft of the Rhinegold treasure sets in motion the course of events that will change the world and end the rule of the gods.
Robin Michelle will revise her role as a Nibelungen, a citizen of Nibelheim enslaved by the cruel Alberich.
Das Rheingold runs MAR 9 - MAY 6.
